Attorney – General of Rivers & Others V. Attorney – General of the Federation
Relevant OPTS members have received the Attorney General of the Federation’s letters withdrawing the Trobell Ltd /Federal Government of Nigeria’s retroactive revenue demand in respect of the Supreme Court judgment of April 5, 2018 in the suit filed by the Attorney Generals of Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom and Rivers States V. AGF on Section 16 of the Deep Offshore and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contracts Act, 1993. OPTS member companies have accordingly terminated respective cases/arbitration in respect of the Trobell demand.
