The EITI International Validation Team visited Nigeria from August 10–14, 2026, engaging key stakeholders across the extractive sector, including OPTS and relevant government agencies.
The engagements formed part of the data collection and stakeholder consultation phase of Nigeria’s 2026 EITI Validation Exercise, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to share perspectives on transparency, accountability and ongoing reforms in the extractive sector.
