The “Introduce a Girl to Oil and Gas” event, organized by the HR Subcom, took place on January 22-23, 2025, as part of OPTS’s commitment to bringing the gender gap in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. This is part of OPTS commitment taken during a meeting with the Women in Energy Oil & Gas group WEOG in early 2023. Fifty-five female students from four schools attended to explore career opportunities in the industry. We like thank Chevron for supporting the initiative with the book “The Story of Oil & Gas”.
