On Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Equinor officially notified the Oil Producers Trade Section (OPTS) of its acquisition by Chappal Energies, which has resulted in a name change.
Following this transition, Chappal Energies has confirmed that it will assume all of Equinor’s commitments within OPTS, ensuring continuity of obligations and participation.
